Initial Design Consultation
In this meeting we want to learn as much as possible about our client’s requirements. Here we establish what a client wishes to achieve as their end goal. Timescales, briefs, tastes and budget are all taken into account to allow us to begin the design process. We find out how they want to use the space, which styles they like and how they envisage the space. The client will fill out a questionnaire, after which we will spend time listening to them and asking as many questions as possible.
Once we understand the client’s requirements, a design/management fee is agreed before we move to the next stage. Fees vary depending on the complexity of the project.
Design phase
After listening to our client’s brief, we begin to work on the design. Using the information we have gathered from the initial consultation meeting, we can create intent drawings, showing furniture layouts and joinery specifications, to understand how to utilise the space to its maximum potential.
We can also create moodboards, 3D visuals and use our extensive library of suppliers to source suitable furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E), together with a quotation.
Presentation of design concept
The design is then presented and discussed in depth with the client. From this meeting, we make any desired changes and refine the design, ensuring the client’s satisfaction before we begin the implementation phase.
Once a design is agreed, we can offer a full range of options on its various elements. We can source ‘off the shelf’ or bespoke window dressings, furniture, joinery, soft furnishings, flooring, re-upholstery and accessories. Typically, this service is taken up by our clients, who recognise our extensive access to trade suppliers and our leverage on pricing.
Design implementation and installation
The majority of our clients opt for our full project management service, which is turn-key and goes from design, to complete installation. This involves managing all the different trades and ensuring the finished project is of the highest quality, taking all pressure off the client.
